The work we have accomplished in our short history would not have been possible without the generous support from our CRNEMBA partners. CRNEMBA is proud to partner with the Town of Carrabassett Valley and with Maine Huts & Trails to establish a regional mountain bike hub for the region. This effort leverages the Town’s extensive Outdoor Center with a lodge and 90 kilometers of cross country ski trails and Maine Huts & Trails four award winning eco lodges and a current 50 mile trail corridor which extends to The Forks. The Outdoor Center also features a full service bike shop which includes bike rentals. When complete, this mountain bike center will be unique east of the Mississippi River and will draw visitors to the region during the spring, summer, and fall, balancing an economy that is currently highly winter dependent.

The exciting and expanding trail system we enjoy could not exist without the gracious permission from local land owners. We offer a sincere and continued thank you to the Penobscot Indian Nation, the State of Maine, the Town of Carrabassett Valley, Sugarloaf Mountain Corp., and the Carrabassett Sanitary District. CRNEMBA recognizes its responsibilities for earning and maintaining the trust that these organizations have placed in us.
