Ride 3 – Stratton Brook Hut. This is a ride for intermediate riders and features one of our most popular loops of Oak Knoll and Newton’s Revenge. The ascent via Oak Knoll features some of the most varied terrain in the network, including flowy dirt, lots of switchbacks, and rock gardens. The ascent ends at Stratton Brook Hut, one of the beautiful facilities operated by Maine Huts and Trails. The return descent includes a mix of doubletrack and singletrack and is fast and fun. Ride mileage is 8.5 miles with total climbing of 850 feet.
